Show the memories
Where cottage sat
With best friend waiting.
All night watching,
Working, caring.

Windows
Are my eyes.
Where I am hiding.
Thoughts are lurking.
Teardrops safely
Lulled by joy.

Windows,
Just a memory.
No cottage left
Nor best friend waiting.
Work alone,
Through night unfolding.

Windows,
Shaken eyelids.
Kept closed
Transfixed by tasks
And taken silently
To thoughts of
Memories.

The soul window is an a painful and beautiful place to perch and look upon

it almost brought tears to mine too.. ahh no, it did. Its interesting to look at how different things correlate, because they certainly do in our minds. Glad you enjoyed.
