They said I was a rat
A traitor to the clan
Everyone knows
and I dont have a clue
The father is down
but not out
and I am at fault

The Capo said lets take a ride
To find safe haven
and mattresses
Its gonna be a war
and we need to prepare

The Capo said lets go back
the boss needs to be advised
He needs to water the weeds
as I watch the backwaters
I smell the foul marsh at low tide
and wonder whats for dinner

I heard the pop
and felt the burn
as I slumped against the wheel
and as I drifted off
and shed my mortal coil
the last thing heard was
Leave tha car but dont fuhget da cannoli's
