Too far away Shadows of the night falling across the room Whispering voices I do hear Goths of pleasures past out there in the gloom Bringing back memories of holding dear Dear, yes I might say Pictures creep into mind But yet, it seems so far away Afraid of what I might find Finding you, there in the shadows I will Cloaked under memories lurking in the dusk Make my worry heart be still Let descend the everlasting mask Masking the feeling that once was mine A Feeling now too far away Making love again for all divine There is nothing more that I can say Uttering these words one more time One more time I want to cross your way Gentle desire is all within my mind But you are too far away The ability to describe life with words is similar to painting a picture; both can be powerful tools. Helmut, our friend! You've been away for much too long! How are you doing with your art work? We've another poet on the boards now, Titia...do a search and see some of the artwork that she has posted that her father has done. They have reminded me of your work! I do hope you're back to stay with us awhile; we have missed you so much! |
