Sitting on my mountains of dreams I reflect on the past and ponder the future Four decades ago I was full of innocence piss and vingear a terror to be reckoned with Three decades ago I saw the world as my oyster to be conquered and changed The future was bright and shiny Two decades ago I was daddy A beacon the hand that lead the way A decade ago My path was chosen my life focused and I was moving up Today, I sit on my mountain of dreams hoping for a secure future afraid to take the risks of a decade ago accepting a mundane reality I sit on my mountain of dreams letting my mind wander what could have been what should have been what would have been I sit on my mountain of dreams getting a sore behind |

Thanks for the comments.....and my hair is still blonde if I go out in the sun long enough but the gray is overtaking it. |
