Never have I damned the moon-- always open palm to sky dancing labyrinth of dust-- message in the ebon scry. Not once did I forget the salts, annointing staff of light in oil. I drew the circle in the dirt feeling simmer churning boil. Always I was mistress dark-- praising beauty of the night. I danced to unheard melody sang the Hebrew mysteries faced the slap of blasphemy to stand in stance alone. Hands on hips head thrown back a gypsy laughing with the gnome. I took my vows as they should be-- solemn--sacred- perfect trust. Thriving in totality-- submission in the power cone. The spark of fire once, my kin, has baked the marrow of my bone. A weary witch becomes unfit-- travel now, to some new home. Take the wand of willow carved and toss it to the flame. Let the urgency of "mine" find herself another name. Prick the finger. Taste the blood. Place another in your stead. Voices linger in the dirge: "Ding Dong. The witch is dead." [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (01-20-2003 10:10 PM).] |

Serenity~ This does leave me scratching my head. You leave me with many un-answered questions within your words. I will not speculate. Just know that I enjoyed it...Paul ~~~ Very intriguing words. Not once did I forget the salts, annointing staff of light in oil. I drew the circle in the dirt feeling simmer churning boil "To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you" |

Goodness gracious! Is that what witches look like these days? No wonder so many people are going to hell. Is that a good witchiepoo or a bad one? LOL, Karen this one I really enjoyed, (don't quite get it all but I still enjoyed it) LOL, talk to you later poetgator. [This message has been edited by Mysteria (01-21-2003 02:12 PM).] |

Passing of the torch via the heat of coffin nails? Phew... The moon watches, and the light is one color. |
