the very hairs
on neck and arm
rise--aware--
silent alarm
eyes that greet
but do not meet
I feel that I
was deemed "unclean"
a meeting held
behind closed door--
a firing squad of walls...

defiance
glare
dare
the noise
to share your space
whisperings of the graceless

hugs you

Ouch.
I've stood against that wall once or twice myself, and those bricks always leave a bruise.
Namaste. Peace. I love you, sweet sister witch. I love your muse, I even love your dogs and cats.

How did you know why I'm back in Texas when my heart's in Louisiana and eastwards? *S*

This is chilling in its simplicity... saying so much in so few words.

I wanted to pop in and say thank you before I do my disappearing act again.

First I want to thank Helen (1_slick lady) as the style of this is inspired by her work.
Hopefully imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

and seymour? Shooting myself in the foot indeed. Think maybe I oughtta be dis-armed?
If I keep this up, the UN will be sending inspectors!

bri?

Sunshine...warm hugs...with much love.

Kacy...you are a doll...and yes, walls can beat the hell out of you if you bump into them enough. *chuckle*

Ruth..I am practicing on talking less and saying more. *grin*

and thanks to Cpat Hair, for the conversation on language and symbolism and communication and..and..and..laughing now--just for being the inspiration.

Hugs all. I'm off again...Love you all.

Serenity,

Anyone who won't look someone in the eyes is a coward. Why would you give them power? Be whoever you are right now. Be that a healer, (there are many you know, who do the spiritual realm healing and such, which is right for some and not for others)  a friend, a lover, a mother, ....do it all with grace and goodwill...which I'll betcha you do, do so well...and, I believe God will meet you half-way....

Many have been in the place you've described in this poem. There are still times I cannot even tell someone my name without feeling like I am lying! The power some have, if we allow such! Ugh! Whoever is working you over, if this is a true, about you, poem...doesn't deserve to know you. I will never, ever, forget your prayer poem....it speaks so much of who you are; I've not heard such humility as in it....

God bless and hugs and warm regards,
Pat

..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons..
