The fog surrounds me,
Hides the pains and the pity,
A cloud that won’t fly
Holding a tear that won’t cry,
I stand in twilight
Poised between the day and night,
No cares to which wins the fight.

Gloom

Well...well...I hope this is not your state of mind, and if so, heart hugs to you. You have captured pure depression in the shortest, most concise way I've seen written. Well done.  Pat

Last nights twilight was beautiful on the ride  home from VA:

The moon, so full in its coral tinted warmth
begging eyes to wander its surface,
to view it from every angle,
as my thoughts were imprisoned in its glow.

Okay, now you're gloomy, and in a fog too. hmmmmm, this will make it hard to find ya, you know.

I like it. It's done with your usual gloomy style.

Thank you, regards2you,
T’is my state of mine,
long hours on the road,
events of dubious distinction
and changing weather conditions.
Pleased you liked these few words.

Thank you, Seymour,
Always a pleasure to see your kind response

Thank you, Nakdthoughts,
The moon was lovely for travel,
I began a poem about it, yet to finish,
Perhaps I’ll finish and post it later.
I too was in Va., a wonderful poetic response.

Thank you, gemjop,
Off carrying an old friend to his final rest
Found no way to avoid the conflict in physics
“Can’t be two places at once”

glad you liked.

Thank you, Whiterose,
Just a matter of knowing where to look,
You look where I am and I’m always there,
Glad you liked

Gloom
