Is it Not Sweet?

yesterday
she stood on the veranda
of her dwelling
watching me
watching world
waiting

today
she is suspended
within her web

is it a web of deceit
where carcasses dangle
giving record
of her wrongs

or are they?
after all,
a bird’s gotta sing

doesn’t a spider
gotta eat?

if all is
as purposed,
then is it not
sweet?

Sometimes it's very hard to see the sweet in the purposed, especially when it comes to those creepy crawly thingies!
