Another clear cognitient end,
Another run around the bend.

You lied again right to my face.
I waded through the ruthless race.

A lie, point three, and your ahead,
Dismembering my sense, instead.

And tearing up the mind inside,
I follow you, my useless guide.

Right to the end, and fast, you say,
Senseless, careful, words portray.

Holding lines of waxen floss,
You say I’ll win, but I have lost.

Its just one battle, in the war.
Just one time, there’s many more.

I believed you’re sweetened speech,
Those selfish lies you tried to teach.

But I’ve got you figured out this time
My eyelids rose, and I’m not blind.

And you’re the one that’s losing this
You still think ignorance equals bliss

- And so it was that time stood still -
     (blink, breathe, stand, fight)

Thank you,

Though I guess I should say, this isn't in all specifics about me.
More about the entire human race.
We're all given a senseless, sweet talking way of life we can follow..
and we can live in ignorance of the only Thing that wins the war.

Always, Alyssa

Alyssa,

Your wisdom and understanding of how ~Things~ work far belie your age. Many old enough to be your grandparents haven't figured out the truth this message brings.  I know you're just about sick of me mentioning your age; (smiling here) truly, you are gifted in many ways and I am glad you share these gifts of wisdom, talent and wit with us...Your fresh ideas always worth the read.  Thank you, Hugs, Pat

Pat,
thank you most sincerely once again. And yes yes is 15 really young? means theres still too long to live.. but no, thats good...
Having a strong sense of what I know and believe can be frightening at times, it means I can grasp onto pain much more severely, and boy can I win a debate It is a gift, a blessing, but certainly painful too. ..not sure I'm making sense, its 6:15 AM, whats sleep!?
But I am thankful for those around me who are a constant comfort.. and yea, that pain even teaches me something.
sooooo as I meant to say, glad you enjoyed.
Hugs
Always, Alyssa
