Off Season

two bathing seagulls
in sunny tint ocean spray
Waikiki winter

sparse winter beaches
coppertone flesh still sizzles
on a sun burnt breeze

silver moon swept tide
rolling heavy wave ripple
crab body surfing

rolling giant waves
awakened to the challenge
daredevil surfers

warm days and cold nights
lady bug curls for a nap
sleeping plumeria

clouds carrying on
delivering their luggage
at empty airport

Poetry is:
Passion, imagination and intellect running together.

Aloha with warmest regards, Cheryl Stewart Koomoa

Reflective, nice. I like this line:

"coppertone flesh still sizzles on a sun burnt breeze"
Enjoyed, Pat
