Look at brightly gazing flames Which peer through inside shadows Opening and flickering upon the Hopes of every heart. Feel the warmth at first, And then the heat and scorch. Boiling blood entwining skin Consumes the room, the mind, The air. All you breathed has been diluted, Taken from your breathless mouth. And face is tingling in the burn And fury of the bitter loving ache. Take a glass of liquid vapor Boiled up into the sky, And throwing bottles, Breaking glasses. Live a little, breathe again. Gasp for breath, don’t go under. Engulfed in flames. Covered up. Seek it out. Seek it out, You’ll live again In anger breeched Come on. Come on Its only flame, Only fire, Only furie’s hate of you. You’ll grow and twist and bend, In huffing, hoping soon to feel Trickling liquid Tight against your crackling bones.
