Remember the days
When we were thrivin?
Chittin and Chattin
And random jivin?

Ol' John was long
And sally was nervous,
Toe was a Buzz
And the Lady was Virgin(ous)

Ruth was a charmin
Her suthern way
Cinamn brought
Her buns out to play

Lil Bibi whipped
Us all into shape
And Victory was ours
Make no mistake

Terry was Fancy
The dragon lady too
Hell I even miss
Davidsu

Dixie was passing
In shadows out there
And Luvit was all
Tangled up in her hair

And lurking along
There came Carolina
And IT and Fantasia
No friends there are finer

Old Hawke would drive by
With HugsZzzz made of Leather
And put on his loincloth
For Jane and the others

Does anybody
remember thrive?
The friendships we forged
With a modem and hard drive

I do not... repeat NOT... miss Davidsu! LOL

But I do remember... and miss... those days when lunches started before breakfast and my smile never slipped all day. *S*

Thrive gave me my best friend and other friends I think I'll be loving for a lifetime... however awful the wars that ended the good times, I'll forever be grateful for that.

Thanks for the memories, feathered one. *S*

Well, I wasn't ever at the "other place"...(guess that's where you mean?)....but it sure sounds like it was a lot of fun. What happened to it????

But, I can't imagine it being any better than this place of Ron's. Funny how so many friendships can be made by people so far apart, isn't it? It is possible though, thank God...

Auntie -- maybe what I meant was that I missed kickin Davey's... um... posts.... all over the board... heh...glad ya gotta grin

Gary'sgirl -- Thrive was purchased by Oprah and turned into Oxygen at which point it was totally ruined because she caved into pressure from Jerry Falwell who claimed that children were discussing sex there.

WhiteRose -- sorry I didn't get em all in -- there was Strawberryblond, Laurenar, Wryter, Jef the French, King of Cups, Kristy, Kristysue, TheaterGoddess -- hey -- I don't have a roster -- lol -- maybe you could write a poem about your memories?  I was mainly focusing on the core Random Chit Chatter board squatters...

Toe -- hail hail the gang's half here -- sorta -- why don't you see if you can tear LongJohn away from Sallysheep long enuff to make a cameo appearance?

Dixie Dixie -- I wouldifIcould yanno?  Big Leather HuggsZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

beaniebaby -- you're the only woman I know who changes names more often than her hair... rofl... glad you could stop by for a chuckle or two

And to everyone here who wasn't there -- Thrive was only better because it was 'home' to a very special family -- but it's gone now..and there's no place like home.

Until this brain dissolves into mush
I know that I will grin and blush
At memories of our thrivin' times.
The lunches, chatter, and fine rhymes
Gave me many a treasured friend -
It's such a shame it had to end.

But just when memories make me want to weep
I think of Molly Moose and Sally Sheep. *G*

Hey..it's nice to read an old friend now and then. And to read about them.

Wow!  I remember Thrive!  Most of all, I remember the wonderful friends I made at Thrive.  They got me through alot of lonely nights and days.

Thank you for warming my heart, Rebel
