"The Moon is moving away from Earth
by more than an inch per year"
             -Discover Magazine
               February 2003

"Look for me by moonlight;
Watch for me by moonlight;
I'll come to thee by moonlight,
though hell should bar the way."
             -Alfred Noyes
               1880-1958
.
.
.
This time of mourning, one half year, has passed,
the Earth says go, Saturn's cautionary
while Mars would stop a man who's sublunary
and knows resisting Venus cannot last,
that love is gravity, it's void is vast,
he muses staying orbitless is scary,
revolving purposeless, unplanetary,
that life with love's a feast, without, a fast,
a diet through whose murk one moves downcast.
Ardor's origins are luminary,
it's dark of solitude he ought be wary
should time with light, it's love move to the past.

While waiting for the light to change...
I should perhaps not be looking at Neptune through rose-colored glasses.
But then again, I don't believe Mercury is retrograde.

Excellent write here poet sir.

Thank you ladies. I think it may be time to give love another opportunity.
Earth green and where we stand sublunary
Saturn yellow
Mars red and warlike one would think
     precludes a kinder light
The Moon forever a female symbol (as well is Venus) slips away
and I surely get no younger.
Hope

perhaps my friend it is time...and if not I am sure the journey will not eclipse the feeling of understanding no man is indeed an island.

(sigh) Oh Richard, syzygy to me is one of the prettiest words in the English language that so many never take account to, the union of the sun, moon, and planet, and the whole tango they produce together, who said it only takes wo to tango? (big hugggsssssss) This is marvelous, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Hi Richard--I went looking for your poetry as I haven't seen you for some time.  I hope all is well and you found love or it found you.
