I see your face molded in cloud
As I tilt my head upward
(closer to you)

I sense you in soft wisps of shadow
As twilight curls around the day
(embracing me)

I hear you in the breath of night
As your spirit lingers in star-glow
(drifting near)

I witness your art
In every streak of rainbow
(canvassing the sky)

I believe love transcends time
And reaches the Heavens

Thank you all for reading and replying...I'm still using writing to deal with my emotions after the death of a close friend...her brother spoke at her funeral and said that she would always be an artist and he would see her paint every time he saw a rainbow...the idea for this poem spun from that beautiful speech. Once again, thank you all for your kindness.
