Those deeper waters Chasing the reflection of the moon In that river that leads to destiny, Sapphire waters rise above my knees. Grasses rustle softly, The earth is sleeping, Breathing. Can you hear it? Can you melt rain? Puddles on the ground grew larger as I cried I reached out to you And you pulled away, My feet were cold, Bitter frost on the sand, Course grains met with a drop of mist, Something bolder, Something sweeter was born Never be normal! |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Liz, this is lovely, sweet friend, this made me cry as I believe love is most special when it mends a broken heart as I hope I can find this remedy soon! (sad sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Liz, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! I love the way this one leaves the reader with a question and a nudge to ponder the different levels of meaning. Well done, Wind. |

your writing always makes me think--"can you melt rain?"--classic! Enjoyed! "And it was at that age...Poetry arrived in search of me...And something started in my soul." |
