Delivered out of many years of bondage and given a brand new start, All they had to do was follow Moses and trust God's unchanging heart. From the bondage through Moses lead they were given complete relief, But some never saw The Land because of hardened hearts of unbelief. Forgetting that Moses was on Sinai speaking to God on their behalf, The Israelites complained they had no God so Aaron made a gold calf. Angered by their faithlessness God wanted to destroy them that day, But Moses pleaded for the people and God allowed a remnant to stay. The people continued to complain to Moses almost every single day, So God wouldn't stay with them for fear He'd destroy them on the way. When being lead along the Red Sea many simply complained and cried, So The Lord sent venomous snakes among them and many of them died, But when the people went to Moses and acknowledged that they sinned, He put a snake on a pole and all who looked to the snake would live. Their rebellion had angered God so much when they surveyed the land, That most of Israel was judged by His Mighty Righteous Uplifted Hand. For 40 years they wandered in the desert because of their wicked sin, And only those under the age of 20 with Joshua and Caleb entered in. Will you friend stay on the straight path that God allowed to start? Or will you have your journey shortened by a sinful rebellious heart? He's coming very soon, the signs are very clear, |

(sigh) This reminded me of Dante's "Inferno", when Dante the Poet exclaims that he must acknowledge both the good and bad of life and that Dante the Pilgrim walked on the crooked path through the dark wood until he became Dante the Poet and took the path of Truth! (big hugggssssss) I suppose the thought I have here is that we all must follow the path of righteousness, but I believe in understanding this, we must first travel the crooked path to understand compassion and mature and discover and be educated of the utmost strength to walking straight! (sigh) This is very intriguing, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bob, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton I don't need no proof when it comes to God and truth |

On our path towards Divine perfection there are many obstacles and it is not easy to walk straight ahead without ever deviating or falling ...... thanks to God, we know His love for His children is unconditional, He is showing the way, but He also helps those who fall to stand up again, to begin anew. I don't believe in definite rejection, I believe in a merciful God. Thank you for sharing these thoughts on a passage of the Old Testament. Thought provoking. Love, Margherita |

All through my life I have heard the name, God. I don't ever remember a time I didn't feel like He was there watching every move I make. At times that's a good things, but there were times I didn't feel so good about it. I guess what I'm saying is on the roads we travel in our journey we aren't always going to be perfect, my sons are my children just like we are GODS children. I love them in spite of their wrong doings. There are no conditions on whether I love them or not. I don't disown them because they do something wrong. I do believe God is supreme, and can tire of our ungrateful ways though, and His wrath can rain down in our lives, and then we see He is our only salvation. That's when we see He is the ONLY answer that's true, and lasting. In that I can see we NEED to fall to be able to see we need our God. To see our need for him there has to be times we do things that are wrong, and not pleasing to Him. I have been through things in my life that ONLY GOD could have changed. Doctors could not help me, because I had no insurance to stay in physical therapy to be able to rehabilitate. My walking again was purely an act of God. So yes I believe in something that's more supreme and bigger than me that I can call on. No one can ever take that from me, but I think wrong-doing is a part of our human condition, and He brings us to Himself through our times we hit bottom from violating His laws. Murmuring, and complaining is one of them. That is true. Love, Terri~ Of sound, and speech let all lift the hearer! |
