Momentos of a clouded past adorn the walls Like trophies from some secret ill-gotten gain Here no sound of toil masks distant falls As children find it difficult to refrain From showing reverence and respect To a life which they are unable to connect. The museum is a perpetual living history A reminder of a way of life that used to be Where events are a continual living mystery As man strives to find the eternal key To unlock a past so rich and mesmerising The intricate tapestry being so awe-inspiring. |

Welcome to Passions, I know you will enjoy it here. This poem reminds me of a time in a museum I actually looked at a huge tapestry and wished it could tell the tale of its weaving. Well done indeed. |

Ahh, Daryn... I shouldn't be surprised that a poem about a museum is placed in the Spiritual Forum,as the forum's name itself can consist of various forms of spirituality. Welcome to Passions! Please check your email for a Very Special Greeting! " It matters not this distance now " Excerpt, Yesterday's Love |

Ah, a museum, much like poetry, conjures up different assumptions to varied visitors. Your wording is most pleasing in this introductory piece. Welcome! God bless, Rae |
