You brought me into Your bright light Turned me from my fear flight Delivered me of the dark plight Raising me, in the dawning of a new day Now I see, You are the truth, the life, the way Following You is not another play Rooted and grounded I will not sway On Your word I am founded Free of decay Covered in Your blood Soaked in a love flood Divine mercy Not a conspiracy This gift is free You bled profusely So that we could be Intertwined eternally Forever abiding Your sword is dividing Marrow from bone So sharp no need to hone Hearing the harp as we lay prone At the foot of Your throne We learn to not condone Sin inside of man It is Your Jesus plan To free us of all condemnation Through fasting, prayer, and supplication Birthing us into Your holy nation Where the heart healing begins Resurrecting ancient ruins Knowing Your Spirit quickens Roaring until Your joy deafens Now we have no choice But to give ear to Your Voice Singing a meal of love Seasoned with grace from above The tasty dinner which You serve That will never cause me to swerve Neither to the right nor to the left As I am hidden in Your mountainous cleft Stormy seasons come and go But Your Spirit will always show The path of Your river flow Forever I will be led to know Where it is You want to sow Fertile land where seed will grow A tree of life coming forth Feeding us fruit of worth |
