What to do in a day we are given,
To rejoice to the lord our king and saviour.
We search for him exteamly driven,
Yet we shirk away our basic oaths.

He sees our shame,
He sees our faults,
He seeks to help us,
And yet we run.

We seek out the darkness,
In fear of rejection of the lord.
We do not understand,
That he sees the good in us.

He knows our darkest deeds,
And he wants us to come to him,
To confess what we have done,
And to say "You are Forgiven."

Nice first post!!!

I like how you begin your poem with a question about "What to do in a day ???" and, then, end your poem with confession with forgiveness given. Hey, I think that's a Great thing to happen on any given day. Right???
