Adams Address He was the richest man on earth. Not in material things, but worth. His every need was catered to. He lived where wondrous flora grew And animals roamed, unafraid. He was their friend and also made Acquaintance of the birds in air, Who sang to him and life was fair! He had a wife, whose name was Eve. A stunning beauty, I believe And they were happy and content, Until the day that satan sent A serpent to the apple tree And changed their life and destiny. They lost their home. Were driven out. The gate was locked, there is no doubt. He was the only man I guess, With Eden as his home address. If only he had known then, What future years would bring to men! Would he have had the strength to fight And drive that evil from his sight? Though disappointed, God did not Abandon mankind to his lot! Joyce: Thanks for commenting. If you have sent me an e-mail since Tuesday and not gotten an answer, it's because I have not been able to download any mail since then. I'm working on it! Betty Lou Hebert |

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Betty, this is so very true, it is a shame Adam couldn't take it all himself but also He is always there for us and He will have our backs to defend against the snakes! (sigh) This is touching, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you!' Noah: I guess things worked out the way they were supposed to, even though we wonder about it at times. Thanks for responding. Betty Lou Hebert |

I guess Adam was the only man with Eden as his home address. Good point. Though most messages that I've read or heard about Adam's sin in the garden are quite alarming, I like your rendition here so much better because it is upbeat and positive from start to finish. Good job. -Bob |
