He is my saviour on the top of Everest's Mountain

Lord Jesus Be My Saviour, when i walk through Hells Valley

He is my Saviour when i walk down the columned halls with the mighty.

Lord Jesus Be My Saviour when I lay face down in a back alley.

He is my saviour when i am winning by a landslide.

When I am under it, O Be my saviour then.

He is my Saviour when I am a billionaire 100 times.

Be My Saviour Jesus when I dont have a nickel to spend.

He is my Saviour when i am handsome, and

blessed with charm and grace.

When i am rugged and weary and the battle is long,

And my true friends see true beauty in my face.

Be my Saviour most of all at the lowly times.

For I say the high will surely fall.

Fall from Grace. PERHAPS TO FAITH, it must be this way,

When truly upon The Name of Jesus Do Call.

A very thoughtful write.  Seems we call out to Him in the midst of life's trials, but when things are going well, we tend to forget where it all comes from.  May our Lord keep our minds on Him in the good times as well as the bad.

I really liked your poem because I think we've all experienced good and bad moments in life and knowing God is there through both is such a wonderful blessing. The sentences that I liked best from your poem were...

...because it reminded me that our Savior according to scripture had nothing beautiful or majestic about his natural appearance (Isaiah 53:2), O, but, yes, we too (his friends) do find wonderful Beauty and Majesty far beyond His natural appearance. Amen.
