Farewell to a Friend She lived with love and dignity And wore age as a badge. She welcomed each day avidly, The good in it to cadge. Knowing they were fleeting, She spent no idle hours. You would find her with her artist's brush Or working with her flowers. A lady and a beauty still At ninety years and more, A host of friends are grieving as She slips through Heaven's door. She left gladly with the angels Her loving Savior sent. I'll miss my precious, long-time friend And happy days we spent. By: Joyce |

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend, Joyce. This touching tribute you've penned is an inspiration to even those of us not fortunate enough to have met her. God bless, Rae |

As are friends, your expressions are very thoughtful and sentimental. -Bob |

what a beautiful tribute to your friend. I am sorry for you but happy for her, now that she has reached her ultimate goal. Dee as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. |
