What Would I Do? To a Perfect Work I type away from day to day On this website grand, What would I do without my hands To write and review the things I planned? I fix breakfast for my family And do the dishes too, What would I do without my hands To stir the veggie stew? When BB needs a washin’ Even though she’d disagree, What would I do without my hands To keep her from running free? And even in my lazy times When T.V. I watch a bit, What would I do without my hands Wouldn’t be easy I admit. And when my BB walks with me The outdoors there to share, What would I do without my hands Would I hang her leash on air? And all those uses of the car To take us here and there, What would I do without my hands I’d be left in such despair. Thank God for these two hands He wisely formed for us, They do more things then we could number They’re far more than a plus. As I fold my hands to you Lord The Creator of every one, I thank You for these hands You made Your Work Perfect, so well done. By, Marie D. So true! This is a great reminder of one of the many things we should be more thankful for. I especially like your prayerfully folded hands ending. God bless, Rae |
