Teach me, Lord, to walk on the path You choose for me, and not be blinded by false light beams beckoning me astray, divert me from the journey to Your dwellings. I know You hear my cry while I tarry in aimless ramblings losing sight of You often casting not a glance at those who weep, like a stone, I am hard and cold. Wrap me in Your embrace, make me be a child who runs eagerly across a sunlit meadow, its wide expanse of green like Your arms stretching to hold me close lest I lose my way. Teach me, Lord, to be malleable and yielding in Your hands, obeying Your commands, take that leap of faith in You, to let go and let You take control of me. |
