One of Your Sheep |

One of Your Sheep Lord, let me be a lean and hungry sheep Who has not pushed his brother from the trough. One of the lambs you will gather to you And not among the greedy ones turned off. It's easy to be egotistical; Thinking only of presumptuous self. Let me not be one to climb on others Just to boost myself to the highest shelf. You put us all on this earth together, Expecting each to help the other one. I pray that I will have found your favor, An ungreedy sheep, when my race is run. A very thoughtful poem that expresses what I believe to be a Christian's heart.... One of unconditional service and of giving. And I join you my poet friend in my desire to run a good race for our Lord. Amen. Thank you my friend and may you and yours also be blessed with a most happy and prosperous New Year's. -Bob |

(smiles) Oh Joyce, with a golden fleece heart as yours you will always be a white sheep as you give unto others so much with your love and compassion and never just for yourself! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! This is wonderful. The concept of the Shepherd is very appealing to me so I really appreciate this. Gentle breezes, |
