ENLIGHTENMENT I seek to find me, My self, my spirit, Within the solace Of a peaceful afternoon. Lying beneath blue skies, Peppered with Cotton ball clouds, On a grassy blanket Amidst heather, bracken And crackling brush. The trees whisper Untold secrets, Exposing truths, I knew But had forgotten, Yet needed to remember. My heart, revitalized By such awareness, Can once again Keep pace With my kindred soul. I am an enigma, even unto myself. |

(sigh) May your heart always be enlightened with the robin egg and cotton skies of grace and Gods love, sweet friend, this is precious, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Das, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

What a lovely location you describe to evoke soul searching. Very pretty. Joyce |

Living in the desert does not stop my mind from wandering back to the heather laden woods of my childhood. I am inclined to believe that Happy Memories are a great blessing in themselves and I am thankful to have many. Life is good! Thanks to the two of you for the nice words. I am an enigma, even unto myself. |

I do have some childhood places like this that I return to and that I recall as well. Wonderful that you still have and make opportunity to return there. Wonderful to have such a closeness with nature.... Perhaps I'm a little paranoid, but I still get a bit nervous when those bushes start to crackle. Usually it's just a bird, a squirrel or a deer or something though. Anyway, another nice poem. Thanks for sharing. -Bob |

Thank you. If we traveled backwards, from end to beginning, would the road, I wonder |

Another gentle write, this is just so nice. I'm a reader - not a writer. |
