Wrapped in my blue thoughts,
I feel the cozy beat
of your blue heart
pulsing out the rapturous blue
of your love-lorn voice.
The mist of your warm breath
gently caressing the last fragments
of my night, the first golden
specks of my daylight.And, I hear
the blue chords of your body
pounding out its sultry blues.
I reach across the blue veil
of time; and touch the hem
of your eternal adornments.

All the while...
wrapped in my blue thoughts
I speak the words
that wrap themselves
around your true~~~blue heart.

Ivy Rose, this is a beautiful poem. It seemed like I could almost hear someone playing the "blues" very softly in the background. Thanks for sharing this.
