Beneath Brilliant Moonlight, I Cry |

While soulful doves sing, I lie. Beneath brilliant moonlight, I cry. A dark night could not conceal my shadows. Silent clouds hovering above did little to Comfort the dreary burden of shivering. Angels of light wait, sleeplessly. I heard them crying. They wept, by God they did... I wanted to reach out and clasp their Trembling, folded hands. They prayed for me. This bitter night froze breathe and rendered still the passage of hope and fleeting inspirations. Coldness, memories, unrequited wanting surround me, silently. Wondering has torn my soul slowly; slivers mark moments, Each a tribute to aspirations extinguished. Damn this hapless existence! Each destiny is seemingly thrown into an endless well, anticipating a fall. What will come to pass? Nothing can quite quell speculations and wistfulness. I have seen time erode emotions and feelings shared; Friends that seemed so close turned hollow. Shallow and indifferent superficialities mingle with unspeakable pain. Just to Shroud. All these different degrees of grief...I weep. For I know that selfish, grey orb. I inflicted pain too...more than I know, so many times. Loss rings throughout the night; a bell tolls Mourning. Standing in a dark plain now, I feel moonlight gracing my face, intangible. It’s faith. “Feelings do bear weight on unseen spirit plains. Dues unspoken and promises broken shed light on a lack of understanding emotions. There can be no blame to shame what is sacred." Do friendships last forever? "Indeed, by nature bonds are unbreakable." This night is a frozen moment, although I am surrounded by moonlight. I suppose my feet will manifest upon paths of dewy illumination. Saddened though, for such grave distances separate stars... I cannot explain all I see; one name could fairly apply- Eternity. While soulful doves sang, I lied. Beneath brilliant moonlight, I cried Angels of light still wait, sleeplessly. Their hands tremble, though folded in prayer. How I long to clasp their hands. |

Without your wounds where would your power be? The very angels themselves cannot persuade the wretched and blundering children on earth as can one human being broken in the wheels of living. In love's service, only the wounded soldiers can serve. Thornton Wilder thanks for your honest replies. |

Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby. |
