Tranquil slow, long, double-wide scow, it's erector set boom, erect, and, pile driver weight, removed, glides out unrippled channel, lush wake obedient. Twinkles spot sporadically mirrored from above, scatter at bow contact, while low moon blinks atop sliding invisible cover. A placid mile out, tossed afloat, lantern lights aglow, bungied to plywood crosses roped to black rubber tubes, are, dropped, splop, splop, one after another after another, until there is a necklace of zircon gems, strung across horizon, rising and falling in undulating gaudy beauty. Now, bobbing lights, smaller and smaller, on the way back to load nets on deck, receive tanks, scrubbed, ready for the serene return. This, the first of many minnow runs. ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Thank you. I'm working on it as time and energy allows. There is no joy greater than using areas of one's mind stymied and set aside by necessity of survival. Our formative years training and environmental influences can sometimes cause irreparable damage, to the greatest gift we human animals have, our creativity. And though all opinions are based on individual perceptions of 'how it was/is', everyone's reality is valid. To thy own self, be true...in every sense of that statement, have I struggled, trying to bring sanity to the insane world into which my soul was tossed. And, breaking that pattern Phewww...what a trip! I appreciate you taking note of my progress, it means a great deal to me. Hugs, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |
