The years pass by uncounted but the minutes I know by name each second since I’ve loved you no measurement is the same The time it took to make a star means naught to me you see for in that star I see the love that I wish you had for me The jungle beasts may be subdued but my heart will not be tamed I’ll not hold back a nanosecond though to say this, I’m ashamed My love took not a moment to find a home in my heart I know not when it will end nor am I sure when it did start In the clock held in my heart time is measured not in space but measured in the times I’m held within your loving embrace |
