The fragile strings of hope that bind me here
Threaten to unravel, the corpus of my fears
My thoughts are blades that bleed me every time
the words upon this blue, imbued with my decline
For secrets never meant that much to me
I'd rather sink, a stone, then swim in veiled seas

Forgive if I disturb this deep blue calm
with words like driven nails through open palms
I sacrifice these thoughts on slates of white
an offering and purge, to help me sleep at night
Seclusion's never really suited me
I'd rather wear my soul, then hide it under sleeve...

********For all who bare their thoughts on PIP and bestow us with the greatest gift of all, their very souls.********

very eloquent,
its hard to keep it under wraps i know from where you speak,
but also hard to be looked upon in this cyberfishbowl at times,
feeling a conflict of wanting to be seen/but wanting to hide too.......
if you understand this, i salute you
