Searching

She was searching for the light,
She was searching for hope,
There was none in sight.
She's at wits end, no longer can she cope.

Her emotions exploding all around,
Scary are the light and sound.
A hand reaches from the dark,
Pulls her up, so scared and stark.

Her soul cries for release,
Her mind prays for peace.
She awakens in the emergency room,
The bright lights contrasted by her gloom.

A young man in a suit says he'll help her,
Tears fall from her face,
Finally the salvation she's waited for.
Pulls him close, her son she does embrace.

She was searching for the light,
Once again she has reason to hope,
There was none in sight.
With her son beside her she knows she can cope.

Of all I've lost I miss my mind the most.

Inspiration found inside of what was once seen as desolation.  Dispair blown away by the breath of love; all that we live for.  The pheonix will rise, bringing my spirits along for the ride.  Touching write and I always applaud form.  Thanks a-bunch

Keep holding her hand, be there for her all you can. Peace, and strength of spirit for you both.
