Like the echo of a distant truth, So I decipher the words like coals From your lips. It’s a truth that You somehow veil even from yourself. Yet, like the heat of the sun evaporates Cloudy skies, so I’ve penetrated Your tampered thoughts. I’m in you head like a cold and for me there is no remedy. You look me in the eyes And begin talking drivel. As He speaks through your lips, Screws up your thoughts, Rewires your conscience to self benefit mode And turns you against the trustworthy. "I’m in you(r) head like a cold and for me there is no remedy." Dang. No wonder I can't shake that cold headache. |

You made the reader do some thinking in this one, and that's a good thing to do. Thank you. "Love makes the world go around" |
