Down here on my knees
the words spill to the ground
libations to gods that never
seem to find the time to listen
as another year closes its
icy hands around my neck
300 and 65 alone again

Thanks inked. Every second that ticks off is overbearing as the new year looms.
Sometimes I think I can barely endure writing , let alone painting. The brush still weighs heavy in my hand. Thanks for remembering and caring enough to say so though.
Always appreciate your replies

Reminds me of the Beatle's song "Elenor Rigby".

You are not alone...and we are listening.
Come on back to the lounge and share a coke with us.
