if i

if i had only knew
after all this time
i would still be blue
and totally confused
i would have never let go of you

and i just want you to know
that i will still be there
if ever you need a friend
but i doubt you even care

  this may be the shortest poem I have ever read... and the question it asks begs answering.. ( smiling) We all make goofs... your just happens to be quite Zen...

If I
  equals the sum
     of years lived
       plus experience
           then where does love
             enter the equation?

If I
    equals the multiple
       of those loves I've felt
         times the experience
           how do I subtract myself
             from you.

If I
  were to touch the threads
   weaving you to me
    would we unravel to strings
     or is the warp of us too close

  were to dip the cloth of us
    into vats of colored days
      would they fade in the light
        from our burning passions
          or would we find they only ran
           rainbows

   folded us
     one into the other
       would time wrinkle
         or would we end up tumbling
