Balladeer entered a contest,
One he thought he'd win,
Puns, Poetry or stories,
But it had to make you grin.

Balladeer picked puns,
Then submitted ten
He figured his odds were better
And surely he would win.

The judges read his puns,
Still he didn't win,
I guess that you could say:
"No pun in ten did"

Oh Toe...
I hears you rparent had a problem deciding on a name for you... your mom wanted to name you tobie... your dad toe. Understand there were quite few disagreements until they went to see the local minister and asked him to help settle the argument by asking "Tobie or not Tobie that is the question."

ROFLMAO!!!! Under ordinary circumstances, I'd think that Bal's writings would surely place well in any literary contest. *G* But this is one time I'm very glad he didn't win... just so we could hear the tale. *G*

ROFL... I love it, sweets! *G*

A clever ending.  Thanks for the laugh!

The stars will shine when I am gone,
the earth will turn on as before,
the gulls, still race along the shore,
the morning star, still kiss the dawn

There's a fine line between brilliance and madness. You, well you're brilliant...but considering I'm the latter what does that say really..lol

That was "toe" funny!

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
