Acceptance
is sometimes hard for
someone
because of how they
look, think, act, or
have done

If they are

DIFFERENT

differences may indeed be a reason for the lack of acceptance..but they are also the variety that makes life interesting..

Had a conversation
regarding acceptance
just last night.

I do, he doesn't.

Still...
I like my way better.

(smiles) Oh Ethel, this is so very true, sweet friend! (sad sigh) I used to feel I should be like everyone else, now I realize that is really a depressing thing and I wish now to be myself and to celebrate the differences and special unique beauty in everyones heart! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, you speak with pure wisdom, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

People just love labeling people alright.
I think we are even guilty of doing it to ourselves. Thinking someone would not like us because we weren't rich enough, smart enough, cute enough...whatever enough *S*

You words ring oh so true

ever watch a movie called Pump Up the Volume
it's an obscure, late 80's/early 90's flick.. this reminds me of that movie.
well done.

Capt. Ron,
Oh yeah, wouldn't it be boring if everyone
was exactly alike? Thanks for replying.

Nancy Lee,
Thank you, friend.

Soleil,
Yep, I like your way better, too. Thanks for
reading and replying....

Noah,
Yeah, friend, let's always be ourselves, and
if people don't like us, that's their loss. Right??

Dixie,
My Dad needs to read it, too......but he probably wouldn't
heed to it if he did read it. We have had arguments over
his not accepting people who are  somewhat different
than he is.  Guess that's where my strong objections to
this mind set comes from. There aren't many of my friends
throughout my life that my Dad approved of.

Salty,
Yeah, I've been somewhat guilty of that in the past,
but (with Gary's help) am gradually getting to where I
don't let what other people think about me bother me so much.
Old habits are hard to break, though, and I find myself wanting
to please others before "Me", sometimes. (especially my parents)

MidnightSon,
No, I never saw that movie. It sounds like a good one, though.

Raph,
Yeah, wouldn't it be a nicer world if everyone thought this way?

As I read this I kept thinking that this sounds exactly like something I heard someone say yesterday on the bus!

Wow!
