Imprinted Upon My Heart

Sometimes I read your words
and I am left held in awe,
not only of how you manage
to master your craft,
but also of how
each word wraps itself around me
   captivating me.

*~Leaving me wanting       for more.....~*

More of the beauty encapsulated
in each word as I visualize it
in my minds eye view.
More of the sudden warmth felt
when reading words from your heart.

A smile from me      escapes
when I read the joy
there    in your eyes.

*~You whisper  and      I hear.~*

You have spoken softly
and left your words     forever
imprinted upon my heart.

As do yours, my dear...
you lay your words gently down,
like dew upon leaves...

a fine poem and lovely wishes

I'm holding up a mirror to reflect them back to you.

May your holiday be a true blessing to and through you.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Oh, sweet Linda, this is so softly spoken. Friend, your words are imprinted upon my heart, as well as all who read them, I'm sure. Thank you so much, friend, and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

This is wonderful how the poem moves: from telling about it to showing how..."You whisper  and      I hear." Thank you.

you know I have read this a dozen times since you posted it. Each time meaning to reply and say something meaningful and find I am at a loss for anything that does not sound trite or as if I am just giving lip service to what one might want to say..

I still don't know what to say... it  is inside me..but sounds so terribly simple It refuses to put itself into words.

Perhaps the best I can do for now is simply say  Thank You

Soft and serene is this.  Most excellent!
