I wished I could travel that road, In the darkest night, Cars speed by, The ocean nowhere near, I still felt the rhythm of the waves, How I longed to ride them, Ride them to the sky. Goodbyes are so hard, I still cry remembering, Seeing those friends the last time, That whole summer was that one song, I never tired of it I sailed into the sky, They wouldn't let me fall, That’s what friends are for You can fall and they catch you, Doing it again and again. I remember the bittersweet taste, Lemons and leaving, Came together. I only have one question: Was that the last time? Never be normal! |

Liz, I like this. It made me think about riding waves like in a car. "Love makes the world go around" |

Beautiful words Wind. I especially appreciate THE song, a song that completely captures the spirit of the summer and how we never tired of it. I hope it isn't the last time, and that you see those friends again and always have their support. raph [This message has been edited by Aenimal (12-09-2002 01:18 AM).] |
