I scrub the sky
with my eyes,
shrink-wrapping discards
for that vacuum place
where nothing dwells;
and placing clear blue
on gallery walls
in full view

I wonder,
when you look at me
will you search,
will you scrub my blue
deep beyond the clutter
and the ruins?
will you know the discard
from the keep?

the woman-child of me
needs to know
you will see behind blue tears
and
reach beneath my skin
to the place I live

only then, my love,
will you breathe
and taste
beyond
the lip-tinted smile

I dream then
so soon to be--
and when then is now,

I wish for that time
to be measured
on Dali's melting clocks,

~~slow and liquid~~

Ah, you drew in two of our more avant garde poets to read you...that is an accomplishment!

Then you get me, with a broad smile...

well done!

Well, now, after reading Sunshine's comment, how could I not want my name added to the list! tehe

All kidding aside, this was a silky and sophisticated piece of writing and I enjoyed it muchly.....hmm! "Muchly"---seems you may have a leg up on me when it comes to sophistication!

~ hugs to you

Only in memory or in writing can time be stopped. Only with the clear vision of truth can one see. Offering faults in clear see- through packaging is an honest start. Good luck.
