~ You Should Know ~

Look to me
with eyes disparing,
beconning
my warmth & caring,
wishing for
a tender touch
to take away
your pain and such.

I've stayed by you - nights unslept;
I've held you while we both have wept;
I've rocked you into morning's light
& sometimes into dark of night;
I've seen your smiles & dried your tears;
I've heard your laughs & felt your fears.

Look to me
with eyes disparing.
You'll always have
my warmth & caring.
As your mother,
you should know,
that even in sickness,
I love you so.

You really did capture the love you hold for him well here. brought a tear to my eye; its amazing how poems, even by others, when they are written from the heart, can bring so many memories to flood us.

I hope a pray a quik recovery for your son, and strength for you.
