“ONCE HER LOVER” by Bill Charles ~~~~ Once long ago in the distant past, I came upon a gypsy woman dancing, black silk flowed down her waist flowed onto her hips gently swaying… Her shawl flowed into the air, skirt high above the knees, all on a bright moonlit night, with breezes through the trees… Romano woman, she ached, passionate with loving desire, longing for her lost lover, sensuous by the warming fire… Arms stretched out reaching, she hypnotized me to compel, this lovely gypsy woman calling, cast me into her mystical spell… Once long ago in the distant past, there was a gypsy woman dancing, I came to her, I was once her lover, held her close again, with my yearning… ~~~~ |

Bill, it sounds like this memory was more than cold comfort. Well written. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |
