With promise she will soon return, long shadows cast their doubts. Rememberance of her touch still burns its' fire not yet put out. while smouldering these embers now reflect a passing flame, long shadows form a darkening cloud, I cry aloud, her name. Were not the bonds between we two sufficient to withstand, the passing of the seasons through, long shadows now command, my mornings and my after-noons, where once recieved your kiss. I fear the longer you're away each day grows more like this. Long shadows hold me in their arms, I shiver at their touch. Though cold, they have a certain charm,I'm missing you that much. A river cried of frozen tears cannot my loss reclaim, faint memory of Summer sun I tire of your games. Long shadows gather 'round me now through Winter long to sleep our love affair , shall we re-new, if promise you will keep? Return to me brief Summers' warmth, long shadows to dispel, I yearn to be released from this embrace of Winters' Hell. ] |

This has a nice flow. Hope the remembrance of love and summer's warm caress can ward off those winter chills. |

Doctor, aren't memories of love precious? Even if they're lost love, we still have good memories, sometimes. "Love makes the world go around" |
