View From A Window

So off I went to sink my thoughts
apply myself to work the snow.
Along with me a shadow brought
to romp and play, to cast it's throw.

I struggled with, in hand the tool
to push and lift, unveil the walks.
Many feet to step upon
as cleared, I worked 'til sweat would talk.

And when the working play was done
Resist, I not, the softened glow
I lay myself upon the depth
and angel made I, in the snow.

Hey there C..I don't know where you live but next to the sunshine's warmth I love snow...
the whole world slows down.
Neighbors come out and speak as they shovel..children are sledding and it's just a beautiful day.
All that's missing is someone to hold hands with and to take a snow walk with...like I use to.

Oh, Maureen, this is so sweet. You really are an "angel", you know...
BTW, I've been waiting for this continuance. Are there more? I hope so.
I love the snow, to look at. Oh, I loved the pictures, too, and the
angle they were took at.

Thank you Ethel..it is still snowing and I am sure I again will have to shovel in another 2 hrs. I live on a corner so I have around 200 feet to shovel of walks and two entranceways and also the sidewalk to the barn(where my husband lives and the other walk to the stairs to the top of the barn wherehis dad lives)..so it will be an all day event for me...changes of clothing too, if it continues to snow.

These are beautiful pictures. And, I love the little poems, too.
