Hearth or Heart? the hearth or the heart the stoop or the step the window or the mind what would You have me prepare? the release or the grasp the voice or the gasp the lamp or the glow what would You have me show? is it time to be evergreen or time to be deciduous? do I cling to my ways and views or rest and turn them to You? this is a season of loving and being loved for which should I seek; for which should I plan? when presenting my gift should I let go and merely watch hoping for joy, accepting what comes? Virginia, there is so much truth to ponder in these questions. I would hope that I put Him first in my thoughts, so that I don't forget the Gift, which is the true meaning of Christmas. Because, after all....... JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON  "Love makes the world go around" |
