The vision of the preditor, With his sleek coat, Shining like the sun on morning dew. And bones that poke through his hair Skin like overstreatched plastic, thin with hunger. Bending down, ready to pounce. Any moment now. Time stands still. Life flashes before my eyes. My life. Fangs that drip with drool, maybe venom. Hungry orange eyes Burning with fury.
