Why did the sun shine? A year ago, a peacefull day The sun's sweeth warmth lead me astray Unknown yet my cowardness It was safely hiding, behind my happiness Suddenly a fearfull cry Shivers, looks, locating:to try Horrible views, heart-ripping sound The smell of death, blood all around Jump and fight? To find the phone? Watch? Not act? Maybe moan? Many options, yet too afraid Why couldn't I get my mind damn straigth! Paralized, waiting, pretty lame When death entered, he got his fame A silent yelp echoed through the room Announcing me it would be soon So quickly i gathered all my faith I can do it, I can do it.. no time to wait I streched out, gently stroke over his head Whispering "Rest in peace, my very dear little pet" Saying farewell I realised what to do, so well Grasping my phone, running away I called for help, to announce the betray Minutes later, centuries passed by Strong arms grabbed me, and i started to cry Cursing the sun, why did it shine?! While death came along, and took that cute pet of mine The greatest thing u'll ever learn |

The day my 2 dogs started fighting for their lives, both died... With me being the only witness, i had a hard time not blaming myself etc; After a year and a half now, i finally found the strength of writing my feelings about that one special day... august 12th 2002... a day i'll never forget..
