Sung to the tune of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen)

God bless you Mr. Balladeer,
These blessings you will need,
Remember Toerag's here for you
With his evil deeds,
Just writing lines that sometimes rhyme
Suggesting poetry,
Oh-oh writings of awful poetry,
Written by me,
But I've read your book and glad that it was free!

(Of course, I'm only teasing about his book, he charged me double and I still bought it and love it.
Of course, he's the first to tell you how stupid I am too).....

Ummm... hon? *G* I guess I forgot to mention that the total you paid was for BOTH our books... it just slipped my mind! LOL

I was singing this before I finished the title... so I owe an apology to everyone within earshot. LOL But even as you're maligning your work, you're proving yourself wr-wr-wr-wrong. *G* For this is excellent... just be glad you can't hear me! LOL

Toe, not only did I enjoy this song of praise and thankfulness for our beloved friend Balladeer, but I also enjoyed Suthern's humorous, yet insightful reply!
I got double the pleasure by clicking my mouse on you!

Hey, Man...quit putting yourself down.
You are an excellent poet and this went right along
with the tune I was singing it with...

Bye for now, Mr. Toe...

Hey there, Toe!
Are ya listenin'?
Gonna gift ya
Nitroglycerin.
A beautiful sight
Yore bones left and right
Toerag will be spread across the land.

Two things you ain't ever gonna hear me say...that you're stupid and that you can't write. You're just very, very deep.

Nicely done, big man

Toe darling man, I finally got myself in here yes, you are well worth me making a supreme effort, so I came if not hotfoot I came. One of my all too few visits and at the moment they tend to be like lightening strikes, in and out again. Keth sent me in here and I’m glad I came As always your writing leaves me wishing that I had the ability to write a reply worthy of your gems. And don’t tell me that it was just a little jotting from you I’m well aware that YOU don’t need to work at writing, while the rest of us who don’t possess the gift you do, have to struggle to combine two lines into a semblance of coherent thought.

Always your writing is brilliant and this is no exception, you know I love it utterly utterly utterly, it made me smile, it also made me sing, so be grateful you weren’t within earshot. And every line is a piece of poetic perfection. This really is a fabulous poem, and joins all your others in my library

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy

Breathe through the heat of our desire
Thy coolness and they balm
Let sense be dumb let flesh retire
Speak through the earthquake wind and fire
