Hey Linda,

I've never been on a mountain top, except in my dreams.
Gary loves the mountains, though, so I'm sure I'll go
where they are one day. He loves the mountains in
Colorado and Tennessee, especially. I love the pictures he has.
BTW, I loved your poem, too!!

When I was going through a very difficult time, my girlfriend who had moved to Calgary,
flew out here to Ontario, to be with me. She then purchased a round-trip ticket for me as a surprise and took me back with her, took an extra week off work and pampered me to bring me back to the land of the living! Since I am self-employed, I was able to swing the two weeks we spent together (one week here and one week there). She took me to Banff and up into the mountains where life was breathed back into my inner being by the winds of God and by the breath-taking majesty of his natural wonders. Within moments, my problems became miniscule. The joy I had been missing, returned and I was once again filled with a zest for living.

From the summit of that mountain, I gained a higher perspective, and my spirits were renewed.
