Earthy Embrace

somebody's dungeon

A sense of surround,
of sight and sound
this wrap around
an earthy embrace
upon, yet more, it
is an aura of place.

In this enfold
with cool of wind,
fall does unfold
in darkened tale,
related in mood
of season pale.

In slight of sleep
for chill of winter
sneaks upon,
even now.

I do dislike knowing winter will be here soon, but I do like fall. This fall seems to be hitting us more like winter though. LOL. I'm exaggerating.

I enjoyed this poem.
